Facebook held its initial public offering (IPO) in February 2012, valuing the company at $104 billion, the largest valuation to date for a newly listed public company. It began selling stock to the public three months later. Facebook makes most of its revenue from advertisements that appear onscreen.

2.Colors of fall - a piece of paradise in an oasis. What if I wandered off, n' a weirdest-wackiest-wildest bear comes out from nowhere & can be seen everywhere in the woods ; to escape from the baffling situation, there will be no choice but to scream on the top of my voice or ask the grizzly bear, "Hey, don't come any near but if you're friendly, you could have my camera for free. " or take a shovel & shove the bear off....

3. Woods in the winterOnly 5 miles drive from where I reside, where roads are windy, tortuous & narrowed down to a serpentine on both side which is more scenic; specially when in full moon, the forest looks spectacular to watch but scary when moonless. Woods are full of Hazelnut, Ash, Chestnut, Oak, Beech, Hickory. Usually, it's pitch dark at night, squirrels are plenty, wild rabbits, sometimes spotted deer but they shy away from people. In the evening when sun has sunk to the west; the evening star which is big & bright stands like a compass & the stars are anchored like a million of magic lanterns. The old wizard who holds the seven stars in one hand & on the other hand he is ready to strike with with his wand when, at every opportunity, the devil tries to change the universe.

4. Rural housing

Beautiful fenced rural housing in the early morning hour, quiet & peaceful when the proud owner hasn't started his day's work load yet- while waiting in the car I quickly took the snap with my digital camera  on Nov 2014.....

 5.One fine misty morning
In a fine misty morning, I chilled -thrilled but filled my heart out for the love- of - nature, where the grass is green with fresh morning dues, smell of early morning mist is still in the air, birds are making conference on the snow; breathless view; I took this snap just few yards away from where I live, now turned out to be a beautiful foggy snap for my collection- Feb 2014......

6. Seasons greetings: . Today when I went out to drop my son to his school on a icy cold early winter morning, I captured this magnificent red orange hues in the horizon from the rising sun in the neighborhood with my point & shoot digital camera - Feb 2014

7. Sizzling fall- have I had the courage to get lost in the wilderness, I'd be racing squirrels & bunnies or chasing a butterfly or try to climb up a tree looking for a bird's nest & will be 10 again i.e. in my 2nd childhood...

8. Landscape one -sunset

I love capturing pics of landscape especially in sunrise or sunset & sky in the background; this is one of the pics in the winter morning when the car was in the motion 50 mi/hr;  even cell ph pic aren't as good as digital ones but it's a good practice to use wherever tool I get for an amature photographer like me- fab 2015.

9. Landscape two -Street view

Residential streets in late Nov, it took split of a second to capture this moment or I would've missed the setting sun, sky was an absolute heaven - cell phone pic viewing from the car window.

 10. Early morning view

Electric polls  going parallel to the end stairs going down -  early morning winter view. Morning sun peeking from the horizon  A Cargo train  crossing in it's regular motion  with a rolling engine sound  moving across the country side .

10. Today in the morning, it was a cloudy day to begin with; cold & fine droplets of rain was falling on my head when I went out - a favorite old tune was playing in my mind which reminded me of my childhood rainy days; while I was waiting on the railway crossing , this majestic black cargo train  was crossing slowly, the tanker was carrying flammable liquid, highly explosive for industrial use ; it took some moment but I was enjoying watching it passing by....

11. The sky is on fire.
Morning glory from my bedroom window; believe it or not the scene looked spectacular in real life. I had a difficult time to capture this moment when I woke up for my son for his school bus; I had to fight for my camera, then set the camera in landscape mode & then I realize I was running out of battery; It didn't give me much time, quickly I took 3 consecutive shots before the battery ran out completely & this one came out the best, but l made a mistake to open the windows' glass slider door; but I was happy with the final outcome.

 12. Single mom

A single mom  with no income becomes a woman or wierd mom   when she gets wired to feed her baby from her own sources.

13. Is that true west coast landers derive pleasure on hiking & biking as the roaches do............."cock roaches derives pleasure with masterbation " does that remind you of good ol’ days!

14. NO STUDY GAP
At the age of 16 crossed the school barrier with flying colors; at 18 finished college life along with cheers & claps for good result; at 23 got the MBBS degree with puffed up chest with some salary, finishing  that within weeks time quickly;  crossing 30 found a girl then married her ....... life is good with children ..... at 50  strangled with kids & their problems, looking for the great escape  when  the kids grown big still  puzzled with life as well as dad; with a wide eye towards life, holding a substantial amount of bank balance, owning a house, a car at 65 , got promoted to the professorial rank; at the age of 80  not much there life is offering, wife's sickness  & death ..... looking for more out life but it was not giving anything ...., irritable needed some companionship .... children are married & left home .... finally life has ended  no loved one's near him.... didn't even count how many years he has crossed before he die!

15. I find Bengalese as a race are very inquisitive , in medicine it’s a good choice for find out the correct diagnosis, but it shouldn't exceed to the point that they are peaking at someone in toilet.
1. Squats on high commode Guess what, in London airport a Bengali / Sylheti  transit passenger  went to toilet. The toilets are placed in a row & when the door was closed it's open top & from the bottom, could be seen from outside for security reason. The cleaning man went inside to clean the bathroom but panicked when he saw the old man is still in the toilet but couldn't be seen from the bottom part of the closed door …
2. Cleaning nostrils in public is embarrassing instead use of tissue would be more preferred choice. Trim your nails after taking a shower.
3. Don't show your bonding with your partner by exchanging gifts like wearing each other dresses; when you need a pair of glasses with low power how would feel you have just switched your specs with your partner's high power one
16.The thief- tiptoeing away with his loot.
"how will  you feel if everyone started telling their hidden story (from birth to present): killed someone...caught in  the gang robbery..., was jailed couple of years ...made forged money...caught while cheating in exam...wore someone's outfit without telling...stole roommates homemade food / money bag ...opened someone's love letter, crumbled & tossed it away to the trash .... sneaked into friends empty house & had sex  ................................ & see the world with a new vision"

 17. Pickpockets'  Have you ever noticed the pickpockets in Sadarghat, how skillfully & meticulously they steal money from the passengers; even though they remain poor for their weird business, but how much brain work they do to achieve their goal, that certainly conspicuous. I believe, they're extremely talented & their higher psychic senses are equally powerful; only if they could use that for good cause, they could achieve worldwide recognition by now.

 18. Sewing machine

The towering figure, notorious Jirafini well known for her thieving action was after my sewing machine since I bought it. With her eagle eye she learned the tech of ironing & sewing from me. Batul used the machine for his trousers (heavy- duty- work) during my absence & it has stopped working for me since then. I went to the dealer store, switched the machine with an old one giving some extra cash to the dealer; now it works fine for me but Jirafini with her jiraff talent had to have it all. She sneaks into my system & tries to boss me around with her ugly comments (calling me "peeepooooool" with her high nose ). She is a no- good but an ugly giraffe, how to get rid of her! I chose this (BDi Singer sewing machine- 1947 model) an antique piece, for her since she has been so crazy about my sewing skills, she'll use her Jiraff feet to peddle it up n' down & with her free jiraf arm she'll master the art of sewing & will become a successful Dorgi.

 19.  The Bangladesh Army -one who are constantly engaged in shaping up the country from the background when the country was born . There should always be the provision for forming new army ( by maintaining the secrecy), sorted out & recruited, based on their true background ; as they are talented from the average normal individual & highly skilled in their field, can deal any kind of odd situation when country is in crisis & when their goal is completed they are rewarded by the motherland. The training they get is in highest degree, no matter how they apply it: it may be to maintain the peace in the border area (BDR), to secure the bay of bangle from foreign invasion (Navi), to get into air fight if the international air law is broken (Air force). Also, to control the situation in domestic fight without breaking the social norm & when the country is engaged in a civil war. In this connection I would like to add, those who are born with a foreign mother, or they are foreign- born, they should be loyal to land they belong (be patriot) & then serve the country. I had a vogue picture in my mind of the war in '71, as I was not even 5 at that time; but didn't we got robbed by the international trafficking as there was no true leader to protect the country, finally we won the war after mass killing (the genocide).

20.Dear diary: Went out in midnight on black Friday sale (11-21-12) to the mall, saw crowds mostly coming from out of state. A huge sale was going on wide screen 40"-TV (50% off) , roaming from one corner to the other in the big store, couldn’t find a single thing to buy. When I asked the yawning security guard how long the store was open - ' 24 hrs. ', was his short answer. Came back after one hr.

21. To those relatives who are living home /abroad & in USA, earning dollars every day, please   don’t adopt any wrong conception about me. I studied medicine in BD, but in USA, I’m a only housewife with no housewife allowance. Don’t let your imagination go wild & oil me for something I’m not. Simply consider me as Samirs mom.

22. Being the controller of dot of Edu where corruption is swarming in the system, disclosure of any professional secrecy would be losing job. Keeping some distance from your loved ones would be a better choice for you, I think, you should change your password on your FB.

,23.  Inside scoop: nowadays I find people are getting too materialistic; if I die today, they'll say " she is better off when she is gone, the world is much more peaceful than before!"

24. The thief
One twilight night a thief was born in a small village where his roots i.e. ancestors were also thieves, but when they left the world  their eyes were on the baby where mother was sick, fighting  for her life, starving, couldn't provide food for the baby. She abandoned her baby one time &  died of childbirth  issue. The baby was taken by some evil eyes, transsexuals were active, their only concern was  he will bring money!  His growing up was not that easy ….he  grew up  just like all other unfortunate kids;  sometimes eaten- sometime half eaten - sometimes starved, when caught severely scolded - beaten up -got lots of kicks & slaps  also molested but survived in that hash environment. He was found unshaven uncut hair,  never shampooed- never thought of taking care of his looks, never manicured or pedicured; he smelled awful, Life goes on …. he kept on stealing for survival until he became a young man. He was thin  & dark, tall  & skinny, tight lipped;  knew only how to run like a mouse & escape. Soon he found himself in the thieves kingdom.  One night he tried to climb up the wall to escape after when he was hooked in the nail  ... certainly the jacket he wore was made from devil's skin, he couldn't find any other ways to get down ... no matter how  hard he tried but he hung like a monkey for almost a day …. that was an awful sight &  a mocking situation. . He cried but there were no tears... he promised he will give up stealing,  he shed some tears & even gave a small pouch of rice to a beggar after the event….  the bagger cursed him or blessed him who knows!   He walked out in the open air ..... looking at the sky ..... daydreaming .... one day he will find a princess & marry her.... then he will make a castle in the air, there he will live forever .... Growing up was easy just follow others, lying, stealing from the store or someone's garden was easy task,  pick pocketing was once was his means of living.  Little education he had was enough for his caliber, but he was found genius & talented when he saw his theft was in the newspapers stating ‘the thief who was never caught! ‘  Some authorized people knew him well, but they were quite all the time.  It became unbearable of that  stinking environment & younger kids were chasing him all day long  for the little food  he earned after all- day -hard -work & when he ate almost nothing for days, slept in the drain for fear of police. And once he was beaten up by the local touts who were equally great in their theft business. Next day he woke up started his day soon ended up stealing a bunch of bananas successfully from the neighborhood that was enough for his meal & what a day!  Every day he was facing humiliations, but he never thought changing his profession as a thief.  He became known as the best thief in his friend's circle. Lying was his best way to escape an unfavorable environment and when he was caught but he remains poor & a loner but his ambition was never too high.  Looking for how to deal when caught up into the embarrassing situation where he himself was the only lord. He remembered one success when he went for stealing, for his preparation he oiled his entire body  with coal powder & wore underpants only (a small piece  of cloth when tied upon the waist-line), he looked like a ghost; after the theft when he tried to escape ....   people couldn't catch him because he was slipping  all the time  ....  the talent he had based on that he wanted to try his luck out of his place & sadly....  one day he left the town silently to the big city for fortune but not much luck! He took the train, sitting on the rooftop, sometimes hanging like a monkey holding the train compartment door ..... the journey ended soon ... finally when he arrived he found …. a super duper gang of four - robbers , all city  dwellers. They told him they were observing him since he came & they liked  his getup; maybe they can hire him & use his talent for their next mission on bank robbery, which was once failed for their stupid way & police came , caught them all & sent them to jail.  Using his talent, they will go for another robbery! They whispered…. they will teach him how to rob & so on ….  help him  mastering the skill. They will  groom him to be a better thief, dress him up so he will be part of the team,  they even told  their story …..just like a batman once  for their excursion  they went to a museum after visiting hours,  found one precious  item….  and successfully stole million bucks sculpture , later  the theft item was stolen by the police!   Soon  the unfortunate thief  found himself  hard to cope  up with their fast  life.  It was easier to go back in his hometown,  stealing sneaking into a house for food which was enough to make his day- that  was  cheap living,  where his means of survival was small & life was fine. He  cried & returned back. Years after his theft life from dawn to dusk he was the only one facing the world & above him was his lord. He grew old not much of good memories, lots of humiliation, lots of night mare but his shameless persistence was there because it was easier life....  why not!  It was his way of thinking....  People above him asked him - they saw him growing up & his difficulties & his entire life as a thief & now he is an old man waiting to die.  "What will you be in your next life after when you die - they asked ?  We could make you a king with a queen or wealthiest person if you like.  " He became quite & cried of his shameless life & thought for a while..... there was no sadness or no anger ….He answered .…. if he gets another life to live over again, he will choose a life of a thief that's all !

25. In Sylheti language which is humorous & funny, comparing to different dialects in the country where people talks & it will end in a quarrel, not a easy way to deal with the situation. in my opinion we should look for a normal life. I don't like the way non sylhetis are trying to be Sylheti & acts like us but not courageous enough to reveal their true identity rather fooling around coming to Sylhet maybe they are looking for the true border when Indian part & ours are long gone in the wind & we are facing some alien power which we dare not to mess with.
Sylhet's lives an idle life, extremely stubborn, egocentric, miser with money matter their madness can be hard to handle; they steal when unobserved (petty theft) but easily deny when they are caught & they will die with their secret; gossips around themselves which is a common thing in the country. In Sylheti language a word 'baaro' meaning- carried away; that would be a dangerous thing if they adopt all the time & later face harsh reality, please be aware, it may bring harm to you or to your loved ones if you are not careful when interacting with an outsider.

26. Drama began on the way back from DC, caught up in the snow emergency all the way to Baltimore for  2 hrs. It was my first-time experience on interstate. Amazing sight in I-95. Car driven with minimum speed at 10 mi/hr. It was   snowing like  shredded cotton balls, but weather was clear all the way to end.  Inside the cars  the passengers were quiet , also the kids . They didn't  came out of the cars  hoping  there will be rescue squad  will be the only option for their present crisis. The  cars were stuck  in random order, came to a complete stop in the interstate also surprised to see how the cars in front turns 360 degrees couple of times within a minute - spinning & skidding to the side isle. Some cars with zero motion got stuck on the chunks of hard- rock- snow & their wheels spinning 60 miles/hr &  snow coming out like a jet.  Police cars were running, speeding with us. Emergency vehicles were engaged in clearing interstate then piling snow on the side isle . They are trying to rescue the cars those couldn't move & those who were out of gas due to slow speed. Snow  will be  cleared in the morning , it maybe  a temporary crisis or may be turn into something unthinkable ; weather  became perfect only after when we crossed  Baltimore.

27. Clue #1. closet was open .# 2. two glasses on the table tells the victim was not alone & had friendly encounter # 3. victim had exam phobia # 4 victim was getting ready for going out ....shirt , shawl , pants lying on the floor # 5 victim maintained a calendar. # 6. victim couldn't walk & crutches are in it's usual place, far away from the victim #7. victim couldn't stand on the stool without crutches & it was not high enough for reaching the hanging the rope # 8. photograph of loved one hung on the wall # 9. window to view tells victim was not under depression. # 10 on the top of the closet, there is a map & a direction, victim may be invited for a going out somewhere. # 11 a suicide note on the table, a broken clock ..... was it a set up ?

28. Probably it's a corner of young girl's room where she has a desk table & a stool, a lamp, an astray, a window which is closed but unlocked (or window latch would've been turned up); a small bookcase with some books (one unfinished book with a bookmark), a closed cabinet, flower vase with some fresh flowers, a wall hanging picture. Girl was wearing a casual dress with bare feet, uses specs. On the table there are: a open can of coke, a pack of cigarettes with few half smoked cigarette on the ashtray (she was a regular smoker), specs taken out , a sheet of paper, a pen,
a roll of chewing gum, a unplugged lamp, a waste paper basket with some trash that tells routinely she works on her table, as the window is dark so it's night time.
If it's a MURDER, case #1 the girl probably was sitting on the stool writing on a sheet of paper; the direction of the pen & the sheet points that she was right handed, on her left hand she was holding a half smoked cigarette which was not finished yet; the lamp may be solar powered but unplugged, there was no clock to indicate which time of the day the murder was committed. As the widow was open the murderer was already in the room hiding himself. In right time the murderer stood behind her, pointed the gun on her right side of her temple & shot her. The splash of blood would've been on other side of the wall & she would've been dead on sitting posture & in the pool of blood her head resting on the table - then it's not the case .
case # 2. she must've interrupted from her writing by the murderer... she stood up ...took off her reading glasses & on her left hand still holding the half smoked cigarette .....facing the murderer ..... her back against the window . The murderer pointed the gun on her right temple.... the bullet came out from left side splashing the wall with blood..... she fell down... also the stool had fallen under the desk table.... the murderer put the gun on her right hand to show that she had committed suicide .... then left the room from the window carefully shutting it from outside without disturbing the setting that was planned . The way the murder was committed indicates murderer is a male person
If it's a SUICIDE - she must've written a suicide note on the table; then she stood up, took gun on her hand, pointing it on her temple & shot herself, soon she was fallen dead on the floor holding the gun very tight; if it was a murder the gun would have fallen out from her hand...

29. A picture that changed the world!
This is in 1987, Zbigniew Religa after a 23 hour heart transplant, watching his patient’s vital signs. In the lower right corner, you can see one of his colleagues who helped him with the surgery fallen asleep.Dr. Religa was a pioneer of heart transplantation in Poland, and even though the surgery was considered borderline impossible at the time, he took the chance, and the operation was entirely successful. Today, even though Dr. Religa’s heart has stopped beating, the one of his patient is still running! information & the photo from internet
30. FATWA
A fatwā in the Islamic faith is a non binding but authoritative legal opinion or learned interpretation that the Sheikhul Islam, a qualified jurist or mufti, can give on issues pertaining to the Islamic law. Wikipedia
In recent years, the term “fatwā” has been widely used throughout the media, usually to indicate that a death sentence has been dealt to someone or some group of people. A fatwa is any religious decision made by mufti (Islamic scholar who is an interpreter or expounder of Islamic law).
The most infamous fatwa is the one by Ruhollah Khomeini sentencing Salman Rushdie (Muslim essayist) to death - that's why most Western people see fatwa just as a death sentence, although it's more than that.
a strong declaration given by some bearded freak that civilized people completely ignore.
Is the ultimate punishment given to any blasphemer who intentionally or unintentionally disrespects the Muslim religion, its leading teachers, imans, moulahs, ayatollahs, or its faithful. A bounty or death sentence.

36. Road to Karimganj
Karimganj District of the Indian state of Assam which is the administrative headquarters and main city of the district. The day I went with my family back in 1990 from Sylhet town to Karimganj crossing the border was quite an experience, I was 5th year student in SMC. My dad was thinking to visit his ancestral land before his retirement & my brother an MSC student in UK was with us. It took 2 hours from the Sylhet town to Zakiganj driving in the bumpy road to reach the Indian border. We got down & went for passport checking in the BDR office where officially we were given permission to visit Karimganj for the entire day, we had a cup tea in the tant. After official formality we again started our journey to Indian side Agartala is the capital city of Tripura, a northeast Indian state. The huge, white Ujjayanta Palace, built in 1901 by Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya, has Mughal-style gardens with fountains. It houses the Tripura Government Museum, where displays include 9th-century sculptures. Nearby, ornate columns and pointed domes mark the Hindu temple Jagannath Bari. North, Rabindra Kanan park has flowerbeds .

Found some Kolkata employee working speaking bangla. Rest of the town people spoke our hometown dialect sylheti .We did some bazaar then went to see our village town where my dad's cousins who stayed back during the partition in 1947 still paying tax to Indian government, greeted us warmly. We had lunch - same sylheti way of entertainment with Indian flavour. Assam was very close, saw the Assamese & the mountain- a beautiful sight . Entire day we roamed around in my dad's childhood place. My younger brother took pics what ever caught his eyes all the time. We also visited a local fair stacked with indian goods .Started our journey back before dark , where we had to go through same custom checking . Night driving was a bit scary with mud storm when road was not fixed with sparkling eyes of jakel & sound of fox somewhere near, sometimes a friendly deer on the side road looking at us. By 8 o clock finally reached back to our aunts house.

39. Leadership
Sovereign country can help find the right kind of leader when country is biased with silly things. A leader must be a soft spoken ,patriot, honest, power to influence people, active with extreme patience, a great orator, moderately religious but will respect other religion, modern, intelligent, educated , a balanced person, with no criminal record in his past. As a person he should be kind, loving & a happily married man or a confirmed bachelor. He should be a role model to the children & hope for the elderly.
Every word he utters must come out from his mouth, must carry weight. One wrong move can have disastrous consequences like killings & murder. He should look for nation’s interest rather than his own, judge things in neutral point of view. When his personal life is in public , the things which he wants to avoid like certain hardship in life / about his adopted parents or birth record; he can be quite about it. Soon boisterous wealthy people will be discouraged when the leader is in power.
To achieve higher goal , there are 3 no’s in leadership- he must not be greedy for power or money, fascination for women & avoid wine or drink less, which will cloud his decisions. In my judgement female leaders (as they are childbearing women) are good but not as good as male leaders as they are stronger in all aspects.. Opportunity will be knocking at his door when he is in full swing. He should know how & when to take it .Once his leadership is over it doesn't mean it ends right there he will be in the history for the next generation.

40. A TRUE Muslim women when going out should dress like this even when outdoor temperature is more than 100 degree F. From head to toe, she should be covered, preferably with a cloth that is loosely fitted made of thick fabric material, good enough not to reveal her figure. The head scarf which should cover her entire head, where not a single string of hair is showing ; below her eyes (funky girls putting eye make up for smoky eyes , wearing colorful contact lenses to reveal their inner beauty ) a face mask should be worn to cover her face; long loose fitted sleeves should cover up to her wrist with hand gloves on; shoes with socks on which should not attract peoples attention. If jewelry is worn, it should be hidden under her hizab including her watch & ear rings. Perfume or strong smelling attar should be avoided; but to remove body odor, it should be mildly scented.
Wearing this hizab/abaya she can do all sorts of activities, like driving a car, swimming , jogging ,wrestling, doing office job or grocery , being a police officer -can arrest people caught in criminal activity, -lawyer - doctor- engineer- pilot - astronaut- you name it; even she can jump off from a parachute or fight with a crocodile or climb to the pick of the mountain to show women are equally good in this world.

41. Bengali etiquette
I believe in modesty in dress up & modesty in behavior. Bdi women love to beautify themselves with whatever resources they have; they wear sarees in colorful prints; with jari , sequence & beads, matching half sleeved blouse, roses or belles on their hair, bread their hair nice n' simple or puff the hair up making a varieties of khopa, mehndi in hand, alpona on foot , wears different kinds of earthen beaded stone, silver/ oxidized metal or gold color ornaments on special occasions; as our religion forbids us to expose any further. It is the aristocracy that a Bengali woman can adopt for centuries . Some Hindu culture influences us but it shouldn't exceed to the point that it'll be called nakedness or ulongpona.

42. To all those friends who were born before the war of 71 & residing in Dhaka city since then - make the city former Decca again & see the difference.
Night sight of the fly over bridge in mega city Dhaka which is situated on the banks of river Buriganga. The city of mosques, rickshaws, scooters, buses, private cars & beggars- bursting with energy, thriving in Asia minor. Exhausting & tiring when temperature is at 90's in mid June; jammed with people, queuing in front of a local cinema hall, ferrying merchandise in the streets, people sipping coconut water & throwing husk after eating the flash at the side aisle or standing with a piece of watermelon, walking with a bunch banana or jackfruit on the shoulder. During Ramadan, street vendor in push cart selling mouth watering, fuming hot, highly aromatic jelabese- pakoras- halim (flies all over- can't stop them). The city which battles with constant threat of water pollution, shortage of electricity, mosquitoes & flood .

43. One cousin sister who lives in a over crowded Dhaka city recently complained, she had to go to school to fetch her kid, wait for rickshaw for indefinite period of time, when all the pullers are busy with passengers in this mid-summer heat; when she comes home, she finds out there’s no electricity, when she turns the faucet to take shower - there’s no water but still she had to stick a smile on her face. Also mosquitoes will swarm in if she doesn’t put a net at night. This is the everyday picture of BD.
Friends: isn’t that obvious that we are living in a over crowded city with shortage of electricity supply, water supply & all kind of scarcity .May be we are too kind to the country Indian Bengalese who have wide access to BD, taking all the privileges but never encouraging us – the BDese to do the same .To cut down the load –isn’t it time we should sort out the right kind of citizens & rest should returned back where they came from?
On the contrary, if those BDi politicians are not capable enough to solve the problem, we do need few good literate people from outside who can judge things in a neutral point of view as India Pakistan BD was once one big united country.

44. The Bangladesh Army - I consider myself as a military brat & from years of residing in close quarter with the army; in my belief they're the one who are constantly engaged in shaping up the country from the background when the country was born . The training they get is in highest degree, no matter how they apply it: it may be to maintain the peace in the border area ( BDR), to secure the bay of bangle from foreign invasion (Navi), to get into air fight if the international air law is broken(Air force). Also to control the situation in domestic fight with out breaking the social norm & when the country is engaged in a civil war.In this connection I would like to add , those who are born with a foreign mother or they are foreign- born, they should be loyal to land they belong ( be patriot ) & then serve the country. I had a vogue picture in my mind of the war in '71, as I was not even 5 at that time; but, didn't we got robbed by the international trafficking as there was no true leader to protect the country , finally we won the war after mass killing( the genocide).

45. 1990 Mass Uprising in Bangladesh
The 1990 mass uprising was a democratic movement that took place on 4 December and led to the fall of General Hussain Muhammad Ershad in Bangladesh. The uprising was the result of a series of popular protests that started from 10 October 1990 to topple General Ershad who came to power in 1982 by imposing martial law and replaced a democratically elected President through a bloodless coup. About hundred people died during the protests those led to the upsurge from 10 October till 4 December, around fifty were the casualty of the violent protests and street fights started from 27 November after a state of emergency was declared. General Ershad was arrested immediately after the uprising on corruption charges. Wikipedia

Some small messages from FB

Behind every kid is  a great mom.

To all BDi residents, winter is coming. Turning off the gas stove may 've  slipped your mind,  gas stove  might have been ON  at the level full . Accidents can happen when you try to ignite the stove  when windows are closed & other stove is on . Before you go to sleep you must double check .

In Sylhety language  which is very humorous in my opinion;  there is a word called 'baaro' meaning- to be carried away; to those Sylhetese having   those  tendency to act like that,  please be aware, it may bring harm to you  or to your loved ones if you are not careful  when interacting with an outsider.

Dear diary :Went out in midnight on black Friday sale( 11-21-12) to the mall, saw crowds mostly coming from out of state. A huge sale was going on wide screen 40"-TV ( 50% off) , roaming from one corner to the other in the big store, couldn’t find a single thing to buy. When I asked the yawning security guard how long the store will be open - ' 24 hrs ', was his  short answer. Came back after one hr.

I was going through a magazine today & found a funny joke which I would like to share.  It goes like this......
A man was waiting in the doctor’s office .The doctor came rushing , telling him he had good news & bad  news. The bad news was, he needed  a brain transplant &  the good news was , there were  two brains available in the hospital. The man’s brain will cost $100,000 & the female brain was $30,000.
The pt  couldn’t help but ask ,” why such difference between male & female brain?”
The doctor replied,”The female brain is used.”

To those relatives who are living home /abroad & in USA, earning dollars every day, please   don’t adopt any wrong conception about me. I studied medicine in BD , but in USA,  I’m a only a Samir's mom  with allowance yet. Don’t  let your imagination go wild &  oil me for something I’m not. Simply consider me as Samirs mom.

The way every where moossolese are screaming worldwide to cover the uncovered women-the idea behind purdah is to cover the parts of a woman which attracts men ; but I saw the Arab girls( Iran Iraq, Jordan , Yemen Turkey) coming to masjid wearing tight jeans showing their curves & boobs,  full sleeved top with socks on , covering their head only with a shoulder length scarf. The Asians (Indian, Paki, and Bengali) cover their body & head with  a orna, wearing ornaments but some hair is showing & no socks on . The African ladies wears big Jubba with a peculiar turban on their head often coming with many kids; even they are not shameful, breast feeding their babies in Public. The converted American Muslims are not aware, sometimes comes fully covered but wearing a knee length skirt. The way in USA, fashion conscious Muslim ladies are putting implants under their boobs & butt , soon they’ll  also need purdha  their butt also .

Money laundering is the practice of disguising the origins of illegally obtained money, so that the proceeds of crimes are made to appear legitimate.

Definitely we might not see each other in future , but I wish all the best  to all my cousin brothers & sisters to have  a happy & contented life with their spouses . To Tanni &  Romsha  for their loss  - my condolences  .Rima -  by becoming my friend you opened a  door with wealth of info

Being the controller of dpt of edu where corruption is swarming in the system ,disclosure of any professional secrecy would be losing job. Keeping some distance from your loved ones would be a better choice for you.  Aziz Fufa , I think , you should change your password on your FB.

Hurricane Sandy’s devastation is only in New Jersey , NY & DE bay area  – but thankfully we are ok.

In Bangla literature Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay was a well known name, even though he was poor initially but later he became famous for his novels & short stories. I heard , he used have more than 10 disciples, constantly engaged in finding the right word & making short proses which were added to his huge novels collection. That's how when I used to go through his work, it  was so vast -never ended; no doubt he was an excellent writer. Rabindranath Tagore , was also famous for literary work & music won the Nobel Prize in 1913;  who spun his poems into an intricately woven beautiful melodious songs but I wonder, did he wrote 'em all or some of 'em aren't his.
A century elapsed  after Rabindranath Tagore (India)'s winning the Nobel prize, finally Dr. Yunus brightened the BDese image in the the global world . But I find it very strange when the winners becomes unusually quiet  when caught into a fight either with their employer or with their landlord ;  very rarely, I saw them getting the award twice; that's interesting

Inside scoop: nowadays I find people are  getting too materialistic; if I die today, they'll say " she is better off when she is gone, the world is now much more peaceful then before

Folks, friends, relatives - Another attack on my 2nd laptop , someone just busted in & made a crack. How did they  get in, maybe the square inlet by the side of the bathroom door…
